Installation procedure
An appointment for film installation is scheduled by phone.
Appointments are available every day (including weekends), from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. If necessary, the vehicle can be dropped off at the
shop even before the work hours.
Installation of tint films in Black Glass takes about 1 hour, with
a team of professionally trained and certified installers.
There is no need to wash the car prior to the installation, as
windows are cleaned and prepared for film installation at the shop.
Films are applied to the internal side of the windows.
In Black Glass, installation is performed without removing the
windows or interior upholstery. When installing rear windshield
film, a single-piece film is used in Black Glass, regardless of the
curvature of the windshield.
Weather conditions (rain, snow etc) do not affect the quality of
installation. The only important consideration is that the windows
must not be opened for 2 days after the installation.
Maintenance and warranty
Tint films require no special maintenance. They can be cleaned with
window cleaning products, but not with strong abrasives (which are
not designed for glass).
All types of Llumar films are scratch resistant, but scouring the
films with sharp objects, which could also damage the glass itself,
is certainly not recommended.
Once the film is installed, window heaters operate normally.
Warranty for tinted windows is from 10 to 15 years, depending on the
type of film used. The warranty ensures that the film will not
change in appearance or characteristics in time, as well as that it
will not detach.
For the films installed in line with the law (up to 30% dimming at
the driver level), a certificate of visual light transmission of
the film is issued.
